Rick is a property professional with 30 plus years-experience in construction, civil engineering, property finance and management. Rick and Alan founded CONTINUUM in 2015. Rick has successfully concluded many property transactions in various Global markets, and during the last 24 months has been pivotal in sourcing, negotiating, and closing over $510 Million in retail property acquisitions in the USA. Rick is based in Dallas, Texas.

Alan is an accountant and entrepreneur with over 30 years experience. He has been involved in various start-ups and high profile companies, prior to partnering with Rick since 2006. Rick and Alan founded CONTINUUM in 2015. Alan provides the research, planning, structuring, financial modelling, reporting and support functions required to execute the CONTINUUM strategy. Alan is based in Dallas, Texas.

AMERICAN CONTINUUM is a USA-operated and managed investment fund, which through its AMCON subsidiary is 100% invested into the USA Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Market. AMERICAN CONTINUUM LLC, (“AMCON”) is a US domiciled Private REIT, established for the express purpose of acquiring outstanding retail property opportunities in pre-determined geographical locations (Secondary and Tertiary Markets), within the US CRE market.The investment mandate is focused on smaller, lower risk, grocery anchored neighbourhood centers with Internet resistant tenants coupled with selective national chain outlets with well developed omnichannel retail strategies.

AmCon has strong and established strategic relationships with execution and investment partners in Texas, Ohio, Georgia and Florida, offering tried and tested investment strategies into the dynamic USA Commercial Real Estate (CRE) market. AmCon has acquired the option rights to a top performing portfolio of grocery-anchored Neighborhood Shopping Centers, which will form the core of the new USA focused AmCon Fund. The Portfolio has successfully weathered the Covid-19 storm and is currently trading above pre-COVID19 levels with rent recoveries back to 99%. AmCon has aligned itself with full service, US-based General Partners possessing reputational excellence in the market, who will contribute pro-rata equity into every acquisition and will conduct all local property management duties under contract to AmCon.

CIL2 REIT LLC (CIL2) is a US Private REIT, and is the holding company for the US Portfolio Investment of South African listed REIT, Emira Property Fund Limited. Continuum approached Emira in 2016 and proposed its investment strategy of investing in grocery-anchored retail property in the US, which Emira and Continuum jointly executed from July 2017 until July 2019, when Emira acquired Continuum’s shares in CIL2. CIL2 targets Grocery Anchored Power Centers, dominant in their sub-markets and located in Secondary and Tertiary Regions in the Central and South-eastern areas of the USA.
